ZeroNonsense ("we", "us", "our") is committed to being transparent about how we handle your data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.

01What we collect

When you complete onboarding, we collect the following information for analytics purposes:

• The name you enter (this can be any name — we do not verify identity)
• Your selected interview track (UX Designer, Product Designer, or Design Lead)
• Your experience level
• Device type (mobile or desktop)
• Timezone

This information is collected only after you provide explicit consent via the checkbox during onboarding.

02What we don't collect

• Email addresses
• Passwords or authentication credentials
• Payment information
• Your interview answers — these are sent directly to OpenAI's API for evaluation and are never stored by ZeroNonsense
• Any sensitive personal information

03How your progress is stored

Your in-app progress — including your level, sparks, streak, and session history — is stored entirely in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us.

04How we use the data we collect

The analytics data collected during onboarding is used solely to understand how the app is being used — for example, which tracks are most popular and what experience levels our users have. This helps us improve the product.

We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond product improvement.

05Third-party services

ZeroNonsense uses the following third-party services:

• OpenAI — Your answers are sent to OpenAI's API for AI evaluation. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not store your answers.
• Supabase — Analytics data collected during onboarding is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database provider.
• Vercel — The app is hosted on Vercel. Standard server logs (IP addresses, request logs) may be retained by Vercel per their privacy policy.

06Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties for commercial purposes. Data is only shared with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the app.

07Data retention

Analytics data collected during onboarding is retained indefinitely for product improvement purposes. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at the email below.

08Children

ZeroNonsense is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

09Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
